'Candlemass Chronicles': New Issue Focusing On 'King of the Grey Islands' Out Now

The latest installment of the CANDLEMASS biography "Candlemass Chronicles" has just been released. In this the fourth issue, focus is set on the "King Of The Grey Islands" album (Nuclear Blast Records, 2007). This era was a turning point and a rebirth for CANDLEMASS, that is still going in this incarnation today. Among many other things, the magazine goes into great detail about the behind-the-scenes events that eventually lead to the installment of current lead singer Robert Lowe. The people interviewed in this issue are Lowe, lead guitar player Lars Johansson, rhythm guitar player Mats "Mappe" Björkman, drummer Janne Lindh, mixer Peter Tägtgren, mastering engineer Sören von Malmborg and album cover artist Tomas Arfert.

The issue can be ordered through PayPal to candlemasschronicles@yahoo.com. Price is 6 U.S. dollars. Postage is 2 dollars (within the U.S.) or 5 dollars (rest of the world).

Established in 2008, the purpose of the Candlemass Chronicles is to create an in-depth biography of the legendary Swedish doom metal band CANDLEMASS in the form of magazines. Each issue focuses on one album from the CANDLEMASS catalog and goes into great detail about the recording process and that particular period of the band's history. Albums that have so far been covered in previous issues of Candlemass Chronicles are "From The 13th Sun", "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus" and "Chapter VI".
