ELVENKING Singer Promises 'Surprise' For Fans

Vocalist Damnagoras of the Italian folk/power metal band ELVENKING has posted the following message on the band's official web site:

"We all have returned from our summer holidays and we wanted to write a couple of lines here on the website. Very soon we will post an official statement about our upcoming new album! But in the meantime we can tell that we are working very hard on the pre-production phase. We also wanted to [remind you] that we'll play at Ragnarok Festival in Scotland, the 4th of November and that we'll headline a night at Velvet Rock Club in Italy, the 28th of October (more infos about this gig in the next days). For these live dates we will have a little surprise for the fans!"

ELVENKING released their third album, "The Winter Wake", in Europe in January via AFM Records. The CD was issued in the U.S. in March. The follow-up to 2004's "Wyrd" was recorded at Sherpa Studios (Italy), mixed at Sonic Pump Studios by Nino Laurenne and was mastered at Finnvox Studios by Mika Jussilla.
