KAYO DOT Announce New Drummer
KAYO DOT, the Massachusetts-based musical project featuring former members of the now-defunct MAUDLIN OF THE WELL, have announced the addition of drummer Tom Malone to the group's ranks. The band will enter Zing Studios (UNEARTH, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE) in August to record their as-yet-untitled sophomore CD for a fall release via Robotic Empire Records. A U.S. tour will follow in October/November.
KAYO DOT's debut album, "Choirs of the Eye", was released in October 2003 through John Zorn's Tzadik label. The CD features five tracks and clocks in at about 56 minutes. A full, high-quality 10-minute MP3 of "Marathon", the first track from the "Choirs of the Eye" album, can be heard at this location.
