Dutch old-school death metallers MASSIVE ASSAULT have parted ways with drummer Gideon.

MASSIVE ASSAULT was formed by ex-ABSORBED guitarist Ferdy Dolserum in October 2002, according to Demos in 2003 were recorded with Carl on vocals, Dolserum handling both guitar and bass with Rob on drums. The latter would be replaced by Gideon. With ABSORBED ceasing activity in mid-2003 the band would be joined by Dolserum's former comrade Jeroen Vrielink (CEREBRAL TUMOR). Singer Scott exited in February 2005. Installing Jos on vocals, Crash Landing Records issued the "Conflict" EP in 2006
