Germany's "doom-metal kings" MIRROR OF DECEPTION have inked a deal with Cyclone Empire Records (COUNT RAVEN, TIMO RAUTIAINEN & TRIO NISKALAUKAUS). The band are currently at Der Soundmann studio in Stuttgart, Germany recording their third full-length album, "Shards", for a summer release. According to a Cyclone Empire press release, "First listening of some of the new songs is very promising and makes us expect a truly original and varied doom masterpiece!"

The band had the following to say about their new record deal: "Everyone in MIRROR OF DECEPTION is very excited about the new deal with Cyclone Empire Records. This young label has done a killer job with the recent re-releases of the classic albums by COUNT RAVEN, a band that was a big influence when we first started. We'll work hard together to spread the word about MIRROR OF DECEPTION further!"
