RESURRECTED Part Ways With Drummer

Drummer Michael Scholz has left long-running German death metallers RESURRECTED for "personal reasons," according to a posting on the band's web site. "He feels powered out and thinks that he's not powerful enough any more especially to play in the drum recordings for our upcoming album, 'Endless Sea of Loss'," the group write. "We wish him all the best for his future. 'Endless Sea of Loss' will [feature] Adriano Ricci (GRIND INC., NIGHT IN GALES and more) as session musician on drums. We want to thank him a lot for his help here!!!"

RESURRECTED's fifth album, "Endless Sea of Loss" is tentatively due in October/November. The follow-up to 2003's "Blood Spilled" will be recorded in May at Soundlodge Studio in Germany. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "An Obseding End", "Hidden by Disguise", "Bloodmarked", "…and She Loves it a…" and "Until You Kill Yourself". The artwork will be created by Juan Jose Castellano.

RESURRECTED's fourth album, "Blood Spilled" was recorded at Excess studios in Rotterdam, Holland with producer Hans Pieters.
