BLIND GUARDIAN: Houston Show Cancelled

BLIND GUARDIAN's show at Cardi's in Houston, Texas, originally scheduled to take place tonight (Nov. 29), may or may not happen, according to the group's official web site. Having announced the show's cancellation yesterday, the band's webmaster has posted a message on the site earlier today advising everyone to check with the club ahead of time before making the trip down to the gig. "Sources from the club claim that the show is still happening," states the latest posting on the site. "We cannot get a confirmation (or denial) of this from the band since they are only in sporadic e-mail contact. This is just a warning that the show might actually be happening! Sorry that we can't provide any information that is more concrete."

UPDATE: The Houston show has now been officially cancelled. A message on the group's official web site states: "Just got word in from the BG tour manager that Houston IS cancelled! I repeat: THE HOUSTON SHOW IS CANCELLED!. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused."
